6. Squeeze bottle

1. Measure 0.1 g of hydrogel in the beaker. Record its initial dry weight.

2. Using a squeeze bottle filled with water, add water slowly to the hydrogel.

3. Shake the beaker to distribute the water evenly.

4. When the hydrogel no longer absorbs water (i.e. when it flows), record the final weight shown on the electronic balance.
