Graphene folds in two different ways, resulting in two unique geometries of single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT), namely Zigzag and Armchair. For Zigzag SWNT, it is formed by horizontally rolling the graphene. It is called Zigzag as the edges are Zigzag shaped. For Armchair SWNT, it is formed by vertically rolling the graphene. Similar to Zigzag, it is called Armchair as the edges looks like an armchair.
